Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event and it deserves some really heightened detailing to make the pomp and revelry entirely memorable. Families and friends of the couple don’t hesitate to lavish the occasion with all the celebratory props for this purpose. Getting the right wedding gown, the tux, the entourage’s matching look, the choice of church and banquet locale, the professional photographers and videographers – all these can be a nightmare for the couple or their families and many resort to getting a professional wedding consultant to take care of them.

One special area to really think about is the bridal car. Unless the family can borrow from relatives or have a Rolls, Bentley or Benz stored in a garage somewhere precisely for special occasions, a wedding gives ample reason to look for a wedding car hire that matches your needs.

There are the usual stretched Cadillac and Benz limousines that are quite common and lend an air for regal formality to the occasion. But don’t let that confine your choices. You can now indulge in your dreams of riding a stately Bentley or Rolls as there are Rolls Royce wedding car hire companies that would only be too glad to provide the would-be couple with one.

Another interesting option to consider for a bridal car are those fully restored vintage cars like the Bugatti Royale or those Rolls Royce Phantom limos of the 20s and 30s. You can also go open-top with a Cadillac Eldorado of 1958 or 59. Going vintage for your bridal car is a tad less common as an option to the staid stretch limos and can easily lend an air of historic romance to the occasion.

Check out some vintage wedding car hire companies online. It doesn’t have to be prestige marquee but any open convertible vintage car will do. It’s the next best thing to getting a royal carriage that ferried Prince Philip and the late Princess Diana to their failed wedding of the century.

Once you’ve chosen your bridal car, the next step is getting it decorated for the event. Festooning the car is often part of the bridal car hire package but it’s so simple to do, unless you want it to be elaborate, you or your family members and friends can do that for you a day or a few hours before the event. Your wedding consultant should be able to cover this area as well.

Getting married is a rare once-in-a-lifetime event that many families would not hesitate to shower the couple with only the best props for the rites and festivities that attend the occasion. From the bridal gown, the groom’s tuxedo and the matching outfits of the wedding entourage, the choice of cathedral and banquet, the photographers and videographers – all these are among the celebratory props whose details must be attended to. It is not uncommon for many couples to get a wedding planner or consultant to get all these things arranged for them.

One thing missing is the bridal car. The couple may simply opt to use the best car they have, but unless they have a Rolls, a Bentley or at least the Benz stashed in the garage for special occasions, they might as well complete the perfect picture with the proper bridal car. There are limo cars that commonly suit the occasion. No need to buy one. You can just rent for the day and your wedding planner should have that under control as well.

Now the question is which limousine to use. There are many and your car rental firm offers a wide selection of limo cars for hire starting with standard stretched Cadillacs and Benz limousines or the stock Lexus, Rolls and BMWs that lend an air of regal formality to the event. Or you could also consider renting any of those restored vintage sedans and limousines like a Packard Victoria an older Rolls or a Bugatti Royale. An open top Cadillac Eldorado between 1958 and 1969 can be a great choice as well.

Or you can have a more romantic Cinderella-like horse-drawn carriage. Check with your wedding planner, these unique bridal car options may cost a lot more but nothing is really too costly for the occasion. Moreover, you won’t need to rent the car for the entire day, unless you are planning a day-long wedding festivity. Most nuptial events with their associated banquets don’t last more than 4 hours or half a day at the most. So your rental cost shouldn’t be a money problem for the affair.

Once the choice of bridal car is made, the next choice is the car décor. Some rental companies offering limo cars can do the wedding decorations for the bridal car free of charge or for a minimal fee. It’s not difficult and unless you want a more elaborate festooning, even your family members can do that for you.

Couples planning to get married have a number of options facing them, not the least of which is the type of bridal car to use. If they or their families own cars, would any of them be up to the task? This once-in-a-lifetime affair often requires some rare celebratory festooning that makes the ordinary car you use for commuting every day a bit discourteous to the pomp and pageantry of the occasion. Wedding cars often take a notch up from regular sedans and rightly so. The couple deserves to be pampered on their wedding day.

Unless you have a Rolls, a Benz or a vintage family heirloom you keep for special occasions, a wedding provides a more than perfect excuse to rent the car of your dreams. There’s nothing wrong getting an exotic Ferrari or Lamborghini bedecked as a wedding car if either the groom or the bride can do the driving. These dream cars are two seaters that may be a bit awkward for the couple to be using, but that’s an option.

The wedding often calls for the bride to be driven to the church where her groom is waiting. She is then escorted with her dad to the altar. After the church rites, the two get to the bridal car off to the wedding reception or to their honeymoon retreat if the reception is held on the church grounds. Some couples opt to get married in a hotel chapel with the reception right in one of the hotel banquets and then off to one of the hotel suites. In situations like these, a bridal car may not be necessary or may be used to transport the couple to their new home.

Regardless of how it will be used, a bridal car should be exceptional. No need to buy one as you can get any of those superb wedding cars for rent. You can have a Rolls, a Bentley or one of those stretched Mercedes Benz or Cadillac limousines that are most commonly rented for the event. These limousines never fail to lend an air of formality and unnecessary stiffness to the occasion.

That is why some prefer to be more unique using vintage limousines of the 30s and 50s like a Bugatti Royale or a Cadillac Eldorado convertible with open top. Your wedding car decorations can be done by either families or the renting company can festoon the vehicle for you at no cost or minimal charges.
